One Mile upstream from Maiden Creek and seven miles above the trailhead, this vantage point offered a fine view of the Selway River in full autumn glory.

From a vantage point of what I have taken to calling Big Sand Peak, this sunset photo was taken in July. Thus the perfect timing for the beargrass, combined with the sunset hitting both the bloom and the lake, 2300 feet below.

Right after the first real winter storm, I got this shot at inappropiately named Mud Lake, at dawn. The lake is part of the Seven Lakes area near Wilderness Gateway.

Renshaw Creek is Located on the Selway River, approximately four miles above the trailhead. This is a winter photo, with drink-from-the stream cold and clear water.

Bar Creek Falls on the Selway River, is located approximately 14 above the Selway River tralhead. This photo was shot in Mid-May.

During the spring runoff, East Fork of Moose Creek, surrounded by giant cedars, has taken on a ghostly look in the fading light of a late evening in mid-June. The location is near Elk Summit.

During the spring runoff this dawn photo was taken with a very prolonged exposure due to the lack of light. The location is near Maple Lake and the creek has no name.

The creek has no name and drains into Cedar Creek, near Elk Summit. It is June and the spring runoff has gotten clear, while still running high.
