DESCRIPTION: On Day Three and below Warren Lake. Again the snowpack was soft. Toward the bottom of the avalanche chute the summer trail uses, I got to have a genuine face-plant. The small tree, hidden under the snowpack weakened the already weak snowpack enough to drop me.
