Glacier National Park is renown for its beauty, daring and danger in the summer. Yet it is almost unknown during the winter season, and for good reason.
This pictorial takes away some of that mystery, but not without vastly increased danger or the need for daring to successfully complete the planned routes.
Six trips and 36 days of travel in the Park is what took place before I crossed the great Ahern Pass. This is the pictorial story of those trips, which almost took my life twice.
