Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness

Overall Map of Winter Through Trip

February to May, 2008

I have always been struck at how maps make a terrain look so tame. However, stick some pictures in there and that word "tame" might get smacked right into a proper perspective.

On this page you will find the over-all map of the proposed Selway-Bitterroot Winter 2008 trip. While subject to change based on conditions that might come up during the run-up scouting trips, this map shows my generally intended direction.

By clicking on one of the large lettered "MAP" 1 through 5 on this page you will go to a more detailed map, which also has some photos added, showing what some of these areas look like, in the non-winter, mostly.

Click here to see the photo album of the 21 photos located inside the maps, if you don't want to go through the hassle of seeing where they were shot.

Click here to see the "pre-album" album of the March 6th, 2008 Blodgett Canyon scouting trip. This is the trip that says go ahead within the next two weeks. More on the scouting trip will come, when I am done putting it together.
