In a winter setting is one of many falls and rapids on Blodgett Creek, inside Blodgett Canyon of Western Montana's Bitterroot Valley. While not inside the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, the setting and atmosphere is wilderness, particularly in the winter. The unnamed peak in the background is part of the Printz Ridge.
