East Fork Moose Creek is in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness of Idaho and Montana. This photo was taken during the second leg of a double winter crossing of the immense wilderness, eight miles south of Elk Summit. The picture is a twin to another photo taken during the spring runoff almost four years earlier. While the summer photo was taken at the end of a one day hike, this picture was taken on the morning of Day-Three out of Elk Summit.
