Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness

Unnamed peak, Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness, Montana

This unnamed peak (9805 feet) in the Anaconda-Pintlar Wilderness of Montana is located between Johnson Lake and Rainbow Pass. On the fifth day of a seven day trip I climbed a portion of the south face of McGlaughlin Peak (9487 feet), inside an avalanche chute to position myself for the photo. Shhhh-don’t tell my wife.
